Things that irritate me - November 2007

1. People jacking up the volume on their iPods so loud that I can hear music from across the room.
2. People who continually sniff instead of going to get a tissue.
3. People who talk in a library at the same volume they would in a coffee shop.
4. People who answer their cell phones in the library and proceed to have an extensive conversation.
5. People who eat loud, crunchy foods even more loudly than necessary.
6. People who slurp hot beverages.
7. People who wear too much cologne or too much perfume, especially what I call "fat old lady" perfume. (A term I use to describe any perfume that is overly powerful and cloying).
8. People who stare off into space but who do so in a way that it appears as though they're staring directly at you for an extended period of time (or maybe they actually are staring at me....who knows?)
9. People who use the public printers to print 500 pages worth of reading at a time when all you want is your 2 pages of slides.
10. Library chairs that cause your butt to fall asleep after 45 minutes, no matter how much you change position.
11. Not getting enough sleep the night before, which causes you to be crankypants about every single little thing around you.
